Extra Care Provision within Nottingham City

Description

A new Extra Care development is being built in partnership with Nottingham City Homes (NCH) on the site of Woodthorpe and Winchester Courts. Change in payment for the pharmacy supervised consumption scheme.

Description

Nottingham Crime and Drugs Partnership commissions local pharmacies to provide a scheme in which people who are prescribed methadone/buprenorphine (Opioid Substitution Therapy (OST)) are supervised whilst they take the medication. Due to financial pressures within Nottingham City Council, it is required for commissioners to reduce the tariff for this service. For details on this EIA please contact the approving manager.
