Description

This dashboard summarises unemployment data for Nottingham's wards. It gives data by age and gender, gives comparisons to other areas and shows change over time. The impact of students on local unemployment rates are also assessed. Clicking the yellow ward name provides a drop down menu to allow you to select a ward.

This report combines the quarterly DWP Alternative Claimant Count and the monthly ONS unemployment figures to give monthly estimates of unemployment in Nottingham. It is being produced to give more timely estimates of change throughout the coronavirus pandemic and lockdown. The figures are not directly comparable to the quarterly unemployment reports.
