Census

Why we have a Census?

The Census happens every ten years and is a survey of the whole population. The last Census of England and Wales was held on 21st March 2021.  It captures a breadth of information which can be used to help target resources more efficiently and inform policy-making.

For more information about the Census please visit the Office for National Statistics website. An interactive map for Nottingham City is also available here.
